Good Bye Richard Wright

The music world has a huge loss today. Richard Wright who was one of the founding members of Pink Floyd died today after a short battle with cancer at the age of 65. Tonight you sing one of my favorites "Great Gig In The Sky" and it will echo throughout the universe.

I'm Diggin' the Zutons

Last weekend I was watching a new channel on our local cable system called Palladia which is a music channel. There was coverage of the Glastonbury Music Festival from England which looks like a very very good time. (i wanna go). Anyway there was a band that really caught my ear.

The Zutons are from Liverpool and they call themselves a "bluegrass rootsy stompy" music band. They really do have a unique sound and I think you will like it. Check out their website and here is a video of one of their songs called "You Will You Won't"
